Chinese TVET: Historical Development, Status Quo and Challenges

This second Expert CERE Seminar offers an overview of the Chinese TVET system, its historical development, status quo as well as current challenges. Beside providing the general overview of the main profile of Chinese TVET, the seminar will explore its developments since late 1970s against the background of socioeconomic development of Chinese society in the past four decades. It will also present the current development trends as well as the challenges of Chinese TVET system. The discussion endeavors to provide a grounded understanding of Chinese TVET in the context of Chinese economic and social developments.
